Maybe the stratgey is different because this is a step and it's winner take all. Still I would not feel good about calling 3 all-ins with AK. If they are donks, as you say, then you can find a better spot than just gambling with them. I would wait.

You're already dominating the Chips. I'd wait. Blind vs. Blind, absolutely call. But I NEVER win these showdowns and I don't care what the math might say to do here. I suppose you are possibly +EV, which would mean that you'll probably lose this hand but may win more chips overall if you do it 1000 times, but I don't know if that figures into it in a winner takes all Step tourney. Anyone else.

Fold. Worst case scenario is one or both of them has you dominated, best case is you're up against two lower pairs. More likely you're up against 88 and AJ for ex. and 88 is going to have the lion's share of the equity.

It's close. I'd say that calling is +chipEV but that may not be +$EV.

Actually since it is winner takes all I'd say it probably is +$EV to call.

I thought this guy was supertight he was more like super donk . I ended up playing him heads up 20 hands he raised twice other 18 I raised and he auto folded. In the end my 10s beat his Q/7 suited all in and I win the next token.
