Default 11R finished 21, full HH

I played a 11R yesterday, and I thought I played well. The last push hand is probably debatable. I also made a very tough laydown with TT late game. It's always disappointing to go that far and not FT. Eruu was watching, so he can comment on specific hands. Any comments and reviews are appreciated.

He played great. I agreed with the push. Also, folding the TT was either a flip or you were crushed IMO and yours too I'm sure.

Very nice run, but I can't recall hands specifically since I was playing at the same time.

I'd want to discuss the last hand, it is an excellent tourny topic, IMHO.

So, what's up with that push? Don't you want them to be at least suited in that spot? Did you do it because the blinds were really shy and folded too much?

I, personally, prefer to push 2 faces or any ace as a short stack from your position. Suited connectors are nice for a repush bluff in a deep stacked family pot, though, as you'll almost never be severely dominated no matter what they call with.

Besides, the table is still quite full, you have about 9 BBs and there is one stack shorter than you are, was there a need to push?

The push is bad, clearly. I guess I was slightly impatient and clearly it cost me at least a grand right there. If it's suited, I am pushing it with out a thought. I am still thinking about deriving the range mathematically.

How about hand 9. I realize it's a rebuy, but is that a good call against 2 all-ins. With the hands they had it was a excellent call, but it seems to loose even for a rebuy. I am interested in your thoughts on that one.

It's loose, but not too loose for a rebuy. It depends on how much you want to spend for the rebuys. Some guys never call there.
