I'd don't see this jerk folding a slightly higher bet & I didn't see betting A LOT more on a FD, so I guess I chalk this up to "Ya win some, Ya lose some", right?"

That, my friend, is variance and that is why they call it gambling.

Most poker players remember the bad beats and forget how they made all of their money. They main thing is that you look at your account balance and you are making more withdrawals than deposits.

It isn't much consolation, but count your Sklansky bucks and pat yourself on the back when those hands happen.
