Default Another flopped set with AA

Another one where I'm questioning whether there is a better way to do this:

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BB: $54.80
UTG: $102.50
CO: $59.49
Hero (BTN): $45.50
SB: $5.70

Pre-Flop: A A dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG raises to $1.75, CO folds, Hero raises to $5.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $3.75

Flop: ($11.75) 4 A 6 (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $9

Fine I guess. I would have made it $7.5 - 8

Agree with sfu, you don't have to bet so large in 3-bet pots in general as you're far less likely to get played back at based on your bet sizing. If you consistently bet a smaller % of the pot in 3-bet pots it will also allow you to keep your bluffs cheaper. I'd throw out 7 or 8. I'm not altogether opposed to checking behind here depending on the villain, but if he's loose/passive betting all the way is going to get all the money in best.

I hate to say it but there really isn't a good way to do this. You can hope he has AK, I guess. The problem with flopping a set of aces is that once you do, the deck is kind of crippled as it's unlikely someone has the last ace, and besides that your opponent probably thinks you hit the ace anyway. Letting a card come off is a little risky, but even if your opponent has a flush draw you still have the redraw. I would actually check here and try to induce SOMETHING, but if you've been making big continuation bets all day this is clearly best.

Yeah that's a standard cbet for me. Probably not correct.
