Default 25nl: tough spot with bottom two

BB is a limptard fish, but I don't know about BTN. I'm guessing he sucks too because of the open limp OTB but this is like his 4th hand so I dunno.

Who likes leading the turn for like 1/2 and folding to a raise? I didn't know wtf to do here.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BB: $59
UTG: $12.20
CO: $54.15
BTN: $28.20
Hero (SB): $25

Pre-Flop: J Q dealt to Hero (SB)
2 folds, BTN calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.35, BB calls $1.10, BTN calls $1.10

Flop: ($4.05) J K Q (3 Players)
Hero bets $3.25, BB calls $3.25, BTN calls $3.25

Turn: ($13.80) 6 (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks, BTN bets $5, ML kicks a puppy

I prefer to complete preflop. Your hand's not all that strong, being OOP sucks, and this hand illustrates that pretty well

On the turn I think I'd have to check. I don't want to put in $8+ and commit myself to this pot when that flush is pretty damned likely considering the preflop and flop action. That bet by BTN is so painfully small, but if you call, even assuming BB will fold (who knows what he'll do) you're going to be looking at a $24 pot with about $16 left behind, and on a river other than another heart or a ten or maybe an ace you'll be hard pressed to fold. I'm not thrilled about it, but I muck here.

Ugh, gross spot (hey at least it was not the 9 right?), but I think I take the b/f line you asked about. There are still alot of hands we beat within their range, such as KTx, AJx/Qx, JxT etc etc. If they have a hand like KQ and we're behind, betting the turn might get us a free showdown because of the 3-flush board.

The bet is retardedly small. I'd call it out of spite but it's probably not the best decision.

bet kind of seems like value town

get out of there, ur getting tarped. u were beat on the flop probably, or werent too far ahead, and now ur beat 100% unless you want to stick around and try hit a 4 outer on the river.

I'd just complete preflop and prolly fold the turn with your minimal history.

i agree 100%, raising with a junk hand like that especially as the weakest position on the table full well knowing ur going to get called is only spelling disaster. its poor preflop play and its landed u in terrible trouble.

fold preflop or at the very most complete. overall this play is only -EV. i only raise in SB, with JJ up to AA, and AKs, especially with a limper behind.

Didn't I just read post of yours where you suggested raising a hand full of limpers to 15BBs from the SB with AQ?

25NL is different, as i stated to 10NL, i also suggested the over the top raise / preflop shove because of 6 limpers. 25nl means people have some degree of knowing what they are doing.

either way, its a insta fold....especially on turn

I dunno 72o, I would agree that there may be a significant difference between $10NL and say $200NL, but not so much between $10NL and $25NL. The average $25NL players are just typical $10NL players with larger bankrolls IMO.

And sure this is a fold, but I was just pointing out your IIP (Inconsistency in Posting).
