Default 25NL: QQ, 4-bet from an EP unknown

Hm, for some reason I can't find the HH in my PT Database (I compacted the database, does this affect anything?) but I remember basically how it went.

Effective 100BB stacks, I am on the button with QQ and no reads/stats. UTG+1 makes a raise to $1, folds to me and I make a standard pot sized re-raise to $3.25. Folds back to UTG+1 who makes it ~$6.50 to go.

1. Is this always AA/KK?
2. Do we have enough behind to set mine with QQ if we put villain on AA/KK?

Hmmm.. That's a real read dependent call there. In a vacuum, I (Never) fold, but this might be weak, I dunno. With a loose crappy player, I shove it baby!

3.25 to call, you are getting 3:1 already. If you hit a Q you need to make another $15 or so. I'd say it's an obvious at least call, if not reraise. I'd be happy if you want to call or shove, really.

At least call. Folding is terrible.

I dunno but in my experience people just don't play AK or JJ this way, so unless you have a note on your opponent saying he's really loose I would put him on KK or AA. If he raised more, you know like all in or something, then I'd think about calling a little more but min-raises like this usually just scream a big hand (or, a really sophisticated bluff, but it's 25NL we're talkin).

JAMOOL, you are completely and utterly incorrect. You can make an *unexploitable* call here. There is absolutely no way anyone can defend folding.

Raising is harder to argue about, but you could put in a defense for raising. Folding? Never.

Put him on AA if you like. It is still correct to call.

I could never fold this and I don't think JAMOOL would either, but I just think in many cases, against certain players I will try to get it in pf. Not here IMO. There are lots of flops that will make even aces a little worried if we call here. And there's always a set to hope for.

Dude, even if he has AA here EVERY TIME you should still call.

"Dude", you're being like my wife, even when we agree, you make it sound like we disagree.

I'm AT LEAST calling this 1000% of the time. It's just that sometimes, with certain villains, I'm looking to get it all in pf, that's all.

I wasn't talking to you though.

Well, sort of, but only because you said fold in your first post.
