Took a shot here on what sammy would call a gambling hand for 1 bet, hoping for a high flop. I like to do this when there are a lot of limpers, but this table is too tight for that anyway. Hit my lucky 6 out draw on the turn. Split the pot with a pro... man if the river didn't make the low 3 times this session I'd be up a LOT.

I like the second hand, it's definitely playable in a multiway pot.

Kinda sucky here since you have to dodge the club flush, but otherwise, that's why you played the hand.

Thanks! I was a little surprised that particular villain called 2 bbs with A2 and top pair.

With the nut low draw, no one is ever going to fold in a fixed limit game on the turn with A2. I don't care if it costs them the full amount, not gonna happen.

Yeah but if anyone at that table would lay down you might think it would be an Omaha bracelet winning pro. I mean, I lay that down. Isn't it a leak for him to call that turn? He's drawing for 1/2 the pot and may very well get his half split with 4 people in even if he hits.

He is getting over 4:1 ($20 bet into an $85 pot) and two guys behind him likely not folding. If I think Johnny's got the str8, one Villain has a flush draw, and the other Villain a low draw, I've got to think another $20 is going into the pot from the two Villains behind him (meanion Froehlich's really getting over 5:1). If I'm Froehlich, and I know I'll get quartered if I hit, I'd call for better than 5:1 on my money.

Interesting. He's got to hit a 3, 4, 5, or 6 so 15 outs / 44 = 34%

The pot would be $125 if the other two villains called. He's drawing to 1/2 that because he can basically forget Hi so $62.50. That's 3.125:1? Assuming the original lead better doesn't reraise. Plus additional bets on the end if he hits and doesn't quarter.

So it's a call... did I do that right? I think I still lay it down.

That's a lot of "if"s, seems like a bad call to me. But, we all make bad plays from time to time, and if this is bad it's not by much, so w/e.
