Default Omaha Hi/Lo 6-max Hand #1

Johnny inspired me to try some Omaha again. Just looking for comments on all streets. I think I left some money on the table with this one and wanted to know what others thought.

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars[/url:38i2gzut] Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com[/url:38i2gzut] (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($21.95)
CO ($4.40)
Button ($173.75)
SB ($43.40)
BB ($143.55)
Hero ($172.70)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6:club:, 2:heart:, A:heart:, 7:club:.
Hero calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Button raises to $3, 2 folds, Hero calls $2.50, MP calls $2.50, CO raises to $4.4, Button calls $1.40, Hero calls $1.40, MP calls $1.40.

Flop: ($18.35) 3:spade:, 6:heart:, 5:spade: (4 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, Button bets $9.5, Hero calls $9.50, MP folds.

Turn: ($37.35) Q:heart: (3 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: ($37.35) 9:heart: (3 players)
Hero bets $23.5, Button calls $23.50.

Final Pot: $84.35

Results in white below:
Hero has 6c 2h Ah 7c (Low: 6, 5, 3, 2, A | High: flush, ace high).
CO has 3h 5d Ts Kd (High: two pair, fives and threes).
Button has 4h 3c 6s 2c (Low: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 | High: straight, six high).
Outcome: Hero wins $84.35.

*EDIT*
Title was incorrect (it is now fixed) this is a high/low Omaha.

I don't play Omaha, but I could only guess that calling that flop is a little optimistic with only top pair top kicker (with a very low board) and a gutshot str8 draw. I'll be anxious to see what others think. I prolly still won't attempt Omaha any time soon.

I mean you're not calling and expecting your sixes to hold up & if your calling for the 4 outer, it seems like you'd need like 5/1 pot odds to call. But like I said, I'm "Omaha dumb".

I shove the flop. You have nut low, counterfeit protection, top pair, a straight draw and a BDFD.

Hero has the nut low, which means he is guaranteed half the pot (unless another villain has A2 or he gets counterfeited). He has a back door flush draw, back door straight draw, and an unknown amount of outs for two pair / trips.

Basically, hero is freerolling to the river most of the time because of our low.

Flop is fine, I don't want to get in over my head on this flop considering you have one person left to act and you need to "feel" if you're the only one with A2 here.

Turn = all your moniez are belong to me. Bet the pot. Now you are so much stronger going to the river.

LOL, I can't believe villain called that river bet. I'd sooner stab myself in the eye than have to call a $1 bet on that river with his hand.

QFT.

Make him pay now, if the flush comes he may not pay you off. Good thing your up against such an outstanding player. What fevered bit of logic he comes up with to call with that hand is beyond me.
