Donking around in some 10c PLO. I have no clue what I'm doing. So is this ok, or is the river call bad, or whatever other critiques? I should like, read a book or something I guess.

The little I know about it, it looks fine. He may very well have Aces up, but it's probably worth a buack to look him up, no?

I kinda feared 44, it looks like 44 a lot to me. That is a fishy bet though.

I also wonder if betting the turn is good having been called by 2 players on the flop on a fairly dry board holding top 2... I guess I just don't have a feel for the frequency people are dealt sets yet.

The experts can chime in but I think your hand is complete garbage. You ideally want a hand that can "wrap" Like KQJT double suited is fantestical. The 5s aren't going to do you very well, you have to hit a set and hope the board pairs. Sets aren't as strong as in HE. You also have no suited cards.

BUt.... ZOMG YAY you're playing!

I know that $10 rake is hell on Full Tilt but with the crazy average pot sizes of Omaha you can probably fold every hand for a round and make more in rakeback than your blinds cost just because of the crazy rake. Check it out! I might play a little $10 there just to see.

Flop and turn look ok.
River is ugly. Can't say what I'd do. I'd probably swear and fold.

Also, Omaha is actually a good game to shortstack because of the higher varience... deepstack Omaha can be a very uncomfortable place to be.

I'm just donking around playing different games for fun so I don't have a big weekend tilt-off like I usually do. I want to get good at HU NLHE and 6max PLO but I really should focus on moving up to 200NL 6max NLHE... which I'm doing Monday

This is as light as I will go. Here I have a soooted Ace and three broadway cards. The 4th card is useless. I played it because I'm on the button first to act. The SB dislikes this, but he did not protect his kings very well, did he.

Here I had this early limper and a mnraiser on the button. I don't like my hand so much and chose to limp the blind to see if I hit a set, and I did. Had this been the button I would have reraised to isolate, but I don't know if thats good. As it turned out the turn card was dangerous, giving me high set with a K high flush draw, extremely strong HE hand... but as you can see I was behind both villains who turned straights. I had lots of outs though and luckily I hit one.
