Fold preflop, pot turn.

EDIT: Really can't stress the fold preflop part enough. This hand is trouble every which way.

As other mentioned not a good hand to start with. fold pre-flop.

As played I just check it down if possible. I see nothing good coming from betting anymore. You are probably going to split the side pot best case, worst case he scoops or quarters you.

This is certainly not a premium Omaha/8 hand, but I look at a hand like this like a suited connector in holdem. When you hit the flop, you can win a huge pot. Given the investment of 10 cents preflop, if you hit a monster 5% of the time, a PF call is +EV if the pot you win when you hit is more than $2. Since most flops at this level are 5-7 handed, I would think this kind of hand is worthwhile to play. Agree/Disagree with the logic?

I really wanted to know how you thought I should play the turn. For the record, I checked. Based on the flop action, I felt someone might have 89, and any further betting = spewing. Not to mention over half the deck might beat me on the river if I'm ahead. The river was a Q, check-check, I scoop. All-in villain had 3 fives, other Villain had 34 for a lower str8 than mine.

Well we're talking about reverse implied odds here. If you hit a flush you could be dominated, and if you have the nut straight you might get split for low and you'll have someone drawing against you. And if you hit pairs you'll be out against lows with a shitty high.

You gotta bet the turn to protect your hand against two flush draws and straight draws.

I disagree, he probably has the A2. So he is not going anywhere. If you bet and he hits a flush you are probably screwed. I still say check it down.

Guess sfusth had it pegged, but I still think checking was best.
