After much debate, I decided to try some .02/.04 LHE last night. These were my first and last hands. I was only dealt like 25-30 hands. What are the odds???
------------------ HAND #1 ------------------ Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.04 Limit Hold'em Cash Game, 10 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter Hero posts Pre-Flop: :Qc :2h dealt to Hero () 3 folds, calls, folds, Hero checks, 2 folds, calls, checks Flop: (4 SB) :2d :2s :Tc (4 Players) bets, 2 folds, Hero raises, calls Turn: (4 BB) :2d :2s :Tc [ :2c ] (2 Players) bets, Hero raises, calls River: (8 BB) :2d :2s :Tc :2c [ :Ah ] (2 Players) checks, Hero bets, calls Results: 10 BB Pot (0.25 BB Rake) Hero showed :Qc :2h (four of a kind, Deuces) and WON 9.75 BB (+5.25 BB NET) mucked :Td :Kc and LOST (-4.5 BB NET) I would have never gotten these cards dealt to me if I was at a NL table since I usually wait for the BB and observe a while longer, but I didn't want to wait another 6 hands or whatever, so after waiting out for a hand, I said go ahead take my 2 cents. At least I'll start in late position, right. Obv. I'm glad I did. ------------------ HAND #2 ------------------ Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.04 Limit Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter Pre-Flop: :9d :4s dealt to Hero (UTG+1) UTG calls, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO calls, BTN calls, SB folds, BB checks Flop: (7.5 SB) :9h :6s :8h (7 Players) BB bets, UTG folds, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls, MP2 folds, CO calls, BTN folds Turn: (5.75 BB) :9h :6s :8h [ :9s ] (4 Players) BB bets, Hero raises, UTG+2 folds, CO 3-bets, BB caps, Hero calls, CO calls River: (17.75 BB) :9h :6s :8h :9s [ :9c ] (3 Players) BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB calls Results: 20.75 BB Pot (1 BB Rake) BB mucked :7h :Td and LOST (-6 BB NET) Hero showed :9d :4s (four of a kind, Nines) and WON 19.75 BB (+13.75 BB NET) CO showed :8d :8c (a full house, Nines full of Eights) and LOST (-6 BB NET) Poor bastard with the eights didn't know he was up against beginner's luck! Is someone trying to tell me something??? There was one humbling moment in between these hands that I hope I made the right call (er fold) with. I'll post it seperately...

BB said, "WOW"
CO said, "****" BB said, "NH" CO said, "****" CO said, "****" Bigloser2448 said, "Thanks, gotta go now, my BB is up next and I'm not playing these rags UTG." My next "free" hand was 72o, so I took I it as a sign and went to bed.

Hand 1: I don't like the flop raise. Here's why. A.) Villain is bluffing. Let him bluff the turn. B.) Villain has a T. You get more value out of raising the turn. C.) Villain has a deuce. You likely have him outkicked.
Hand 2: Fold the flop. This is just like a hand from Theory Of Poker? where even if you're ahead you're just barely ahead. |

I like a flop call in hand 1. If you think he'll bet again on the turn more than half the time it's worth just calling flop. The math works out like this:
Raise flop: Villain calls, villain check calls turn and river: total of 2.5 extra bets Call flop: Villain bets/calls turn, calls river: total of 3 extra bets lol @ folding hand 2 on the flop. I'd fold unimproved on the turn.
