SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls

Turn: (5.5 BB) 6:club: (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls

River: (7.5 BB) T:heart: (2 Players)

Hahaha... this one is a freebie. It's worse when you sit at a $5/$10 PL Omaha game and start betting like it's limit because you think it is. *cough*

For me it was when I joined a Omaha table that I thought was Hi/lo and it wasn't. I can't remember what site it was but one of the sites I played on back in the day, ran all the Omaha games together and you would click to join and it would shift just as you clicked and you would not realize it. I lost a bit of cash doing that. Sitting there stunned with my nut low and half the pot is not coming my way.

Is the preflop cap for meta-game, deception, keeping the lead? I'm not sure I like it a whole lot.

I don't think river is bad as I think people very rarely check raise bluff the river, but you have to be careful against observant opponents who might do this as a bluff if they see you folding top two. Also, villain having AT is a distinct possibility but combinatiorly makes up a tiny portion of his range. That being said KQ doesn't make a lot of sense either unless he thought his K was live.
