Default Good example of position being important

Being in position here makes it very easy to play this hand either aggressively or passively. Each time it gets to me, I have the direct odds and certainly implied odds to call.

If I was in the middle, I would have a harder decision, and calling would not be a good option.

Most of all, THANK YOU CAKE

lol amazing, typical Cake though I guess. Awesome hand... I like the way you played it considering the mulitway action.

Doesn't anyone think this ought to be raised? I mean, odds are you've got 14-15 clean outs here, and maybe more (as it turned out, you did), and that's a big shot vs. two people, but if a diamond comes the action may just shut down. If you shove you would probably get a call from a hand like AJ, in which case you're drawing to like a buttload of outs

I knew that would be Ugi's answer. My point was that I had the choice to play it either way. Calling I think gives me the best chance of winning the biggest pot by keeping everyone in. That and I was in a lower variance phase.

HU I raise the flop every time, but when it's multiway and I'm drawing to the nut flush or 2nd nut flush I'd rather try and keep worse draws in. 3-way I would probably still raise it, but this is still a fine way to play it because obv they're morons who apparently aren't folding at any point.
