You may be right. I haven't a winning session since I finished it.

I know that feeling. Sometimes I think I was a better poker player before I ever read any books about it. I usually find myself thinking this way when I am on a losing streak.

On the right track again, TG. I just need some more experience, and probably read another 3 or 4 books before I'll be able to recognise the good and bad parts of some of these books.

I'm not sure if I'd say this book outdated as a whole. There's a lot of fundamental stuff in there that I haven't seen in other books I've read to this point; or at least not into this much detail. It's a little more "math heavy" than it needs to be IMO. There's no way that many people can actually do the math they describe on a regular basis on the spot. I'm was kind of glad that they summarize each section into a smaller bitesized chunk that is easier to digest, though. At least if you can't grasp all the math, then you can have an understanding of why certain decisions go certain ways.
