One thing that some people don't know about is that you don't always have to play with real money to win money.  There are freeroll tournaments where, if you place in the top number that each tournament offers, you have an opportunity to enter a weekly tournament to play for real money.  Sure, you're not playing for a lot of money, but if you win sometimes you can win upwards of $100.
