Default Xmas parties aren't all good

My partner had a big party last night and I made sure that a poker game broke out later in the evening. I played loose crazy but not totally retarded (just mostly retarded). When the host went to sleep at 1:30 am I was down $300. When he woke up at 8 am I was up $500. Lots of interesting hands but my brain is still tired. To make a long story short, Ernie busted me for the biggest pot ever at our home game ~$1500.

Too sleepy to elaborate but we all had a good time. It was really a great night until the last hour. I had zero respect from anyone at the table (which was my plan) but I just didn't catch the cards at the end to make it workout.

Do you need to play totally loose EVERY time to get that reputation?

surely sometimes you could play differently and still make money?

Ok, I confess. I play like a maniac because it's fun. I suspect I could change a few things and actually make more money. As long as I'm making a long term profit (a little over $11,000 for the year) I'm happy. I try to make sure that everyone has fun and they all keep coming back because they know I can be busted.

More later I hope on some of the details.

Oh yes..There are lots of great pics of the delusional Christmas Game!! The game lasted until 11:30 am the next day. Hopefully realpoor will post the pictures soon. I had to quit playing around 4 am to get some sleep. Ernie ended up taking home around $800. Logan (Ernie's son) left about $300 up. Brooks left down about $200. Not sure what realpoor lost, missed that part due to sleep. Jerry (the snake) won somewhere in the neighborhood of $500. I am still not sure where all the money came from. Eruu staked me since I had just spent $1000 on food and drinks for the party, that included a huge moonwalk for the kids. It was a different stake than he normally does..he loaned me 50 and staked me another 50. I have to pay back the loan and the stake plus give him 25% of the profit. I think my final table count was $364 for the night. When I woke up around 9:30 there was 9 empty wine bottles. More to come later..
Cheers

Techy here,

Here are the pictures, I'll let Chad caption them.

Large text added by Eruu. This is me very tired some time after the sun was shining in the window.

I staked my nephew and he busted twice, then he bought his self in and I busted him.

The messy table just before it all ended. That stuff in the bowl is scrambled eggs with sausage I think. His wife actually got up and cooked for us instead of kicking us out.

Where the hell did those come from? I was not the only wine drinker there and I'm pretty sure I didn't do all that by myself but I can't be sure. Yes that is a copy of Super System mostly hidden by the bottles

From left to right, "dirty" Ernie, Jerry (aka chicken snake) and your's truly.

Raisy daisy indeed! Look at the pile of bills in front of that son of a bitch! Most of those came from me and I was plotting to get it back. Other players are Brooks (big guy) and Ernie's son Logan (right)

Logan got some of my money too.

My sweet heart (EP's daughter) digging for a booger.

And my favorite...

It's sicker if you know what the chip denominations are. Red = $5, Black = $1, White = $.025. So that is a $20 raise into a $3 pot. My raises went from $7 to $11 and then this because I wasn't able to isolate with anything less. LOL, man I had forgotten how much I was throwing out there.
