Default Royal Carribean Cruise trip report

Got back from a 3 day cruise on Royal Carribean out of Port Canaveral, Florida last week and saw something odd that I had to post here. The casino had a 2/5 limit hold 'em game going. That's fine, but the odd part was the table layout -- they used a standard blackjack style table top for the game. This way, it fit into one of their regular gaming pits and they didn't have to make special accomodations for a poker table. The downside was that it made the game 7 players max, and it was hard to see the other players. Anyone else ever encountered this odd little setup?

BTW, I did not play in this actual game much at all. The cruise was organized by a group from the Orlando, Florida area that plays bar poker, and we had our own tournaments running in a private room most of the time the boat wasn't in port.

That is such an awesome idea. I have never seen anyone play on a blackjack table. That is actually blasphemy isn't it?

I've seen this happen on cruises before as well, kinda sucks but there is alot of action on there and usually a few "learners" at the table.
