Five of us are heading to the Hamilton poker room.(Jasper) tomorrow. Since I have done so well in the 7:00PM tourney they have every Saturday , everyone in the home game wants to try it now. I will let you know how it turns out.

Another good day at the Poker room. I won the $125.00 buy-in tourney again. Well I guess you can say I technically chopped. Got down to the final two I was a huge chip leader, and my opponent was a hot chick who was really nice, and was a good player. She may have had 5 BBs left. I offered her an additional $200.00 for her take to stop right then and she agreed. She probably would have taken $100.00, but I let her womanly charms take me for an additional $100.00. There were several of the guys there who in that same predicament I would have tried my best to bust them and not let them get another dime. It's typical of us guys I guess, the only person that ever beats them is the lucky idiot. You can see that when you knock them out. In this case it was true, but still.

I played pretty well, but did get lucky several times which is what got me to the final table. Fist bit of luck was at the first table we are about 15 minutes in and I get QQ. The guy UTG raises gets one caller and I re-raise from the SB. He calls the other caller folds. The flop is all under cards. I bet out for about teh pot, he thinks and calls. Another blank on the turn and I decide it's time to stop this and I go all-in he tanks for a long time, so I figure I have him. He finally calls and flips up KK. So I figure I am done. The river is a Q :bowdown:. I found out later it was the case Q, another guy at the table had Q5 and folded.

From that point on not much happens till the final table. Basically I have just occasionally been getting blinds and winning and losing a few small pots. When we get down to about 7 I am starting to get really short stacked. I finally get a hand I think I can play and it's KQs, I am in late position and it's folded to me. I am under 10X so no fooling around, I just have to go for it. I push all-in and the BB calls, he has JJ. So at least I have two overs and it's a race, which I win when that saucy little bitch the Q comes out right on the flop. So I am now back in it. Things go dead again, I try one steal against the blinds and get my hand smacked by the BB who pushes back all-in. I have A3 and I decide to let it go. So then the hand that propels me to the lead, one of my buddies also made the final table and we are both pretty short stacked. From early position he pushes all-in, I have him covered and I look down at AJs. I am to short not to try and get these chips and I figure if he bust me then maybe he can win the thing, so to Isolate I push all-in as well. Well the guy immediately to my left then calls also, so I figure I am screwed, I just hope my buddy has something. Well my buddy has 88, I have the AJs and the other guys who calls two all-ins and has us both covered has AQ. So just like Eruu in this [url=http://www.ridgepoker.com/forum/trip-reports/topic2623.html:inidyw77]thread[/url:inidyw77] the J comes out on the turn and I triple up and get a nice chip stack. We are down to 6 and I then proceed to take everyone out one by one.

So I get $1185.00 for the win and I had 8 bounty chips for an additional $200.00. I gave the dealers $100.00 so I walked away with a nice $1200.00 profit. :D

I lost just under $100.00 at the cash tables, but that was mainly due to me really donking it up at a cash table after the tourney. I was put on a table that was a gold mine, but I was a little to loose because of the big cash in the tourney and ended up losing a little. I could have walked away with probably $200.00 or $300.00 more if I had just played my normal game. It was fun though. I will try to get back on some time later and describe the table. It was something else
