...I'll try and do the report tonight, sorry for the delay but I am just recovering from a massive hang-over from the weekend.
Long story short - we had 17 people for a $25 rebuy tournament, and ended up with a $1000+ pool. I played horrible in the tournament, and lost 4 buy-ins, but my daughter Jill played great and finished 2nd, so I was very proud of that. Then we got an insane cash game going - I bought in for another $100 and cashed $600 at 5:30am. Merv - ya shudda been dere!

$25 Rebuy Tourney...$25 buy-in with unlimited re-buys until 1st break. We had 17 people, and the total prize pool was around $1150(?) paying 4 players.
This was a rather large turn-out for our cul-de-sac, especially with several regulars on vacation. We had some new players who livened things up, and my daughter Jill came up from Pawleys Island to play, and as mentioned earlier she finished 2nd. She plays extremely tight, and she has begun to get more aggressive later in the tournaments. I don't really remember too much about the tournament, as I got no cards, and started chasing and ended up putting $100 in before I busted out in 10th. There was quite a bit of the ole drinking going on, and I just recovered from the weekend. Winner - New Guy Tommy $570 2nd - Jill $280 3rd - Rick - plays in WSOP every year, last year cashed $15k 4th - dont'know as I was in cash game The cash game started with .50/1.00 blinds, and quickly changed to 1/2. We had 8-9 players for most of the night, and the pre-flop raises quickly rose to $10+, which is a little high for us. 5-10 hands in when we were short-handed, one of the new guys doubled me up when I hit a str8 on the turn, and I thought then it could be a good night. One guy named Kenny has a habit of going all-in at odd times, like all-in for $100 when there is $15 in the pot. He raised pre-flop to $15, and I called with AKo to see if I could trap him. Flop is T J Q and he immediately says the magic words, and I move to about $300. Here's the only other hand I really remember: I have :Jc: :Js: and raise UTG to $10. 3 callers, including Rick the WSOP guy in the BB. He has been card dead and has just re-bought to $200. Flop is :3c: :4h: :6d: and I bet out $40 everyone folds except Rick who calls. Turn is :Jh: woo hoo!! I bet $50 and Rick moves all-in...ruh row. I know he has 57, but I can't lay down trips, cause he just might have an under-set. I call saying I'm in trouble, and he does show :5s: :7d: Crap - pair the board - pair the effing board! River is :Jd: Rick starts cussing and I start dancing. We played until about 5:30am, and then I made the mistake of going out Sunday afternoon for a couple of beers, and ended up getting home at midnight.
