Would you be up to going to the card room this Saturday. One of the guys I go with expressed interest, I said I would go with him if he drove. I drove to Jasper last time and the last time we went to Jacksonville I drove. Anyway, it's not for sure, this guy is a little flaky, he tends to change his mind and he never totally commits. It's always "I think I might want to", or "yea maybe". Another guy may be going but he hasn't decided yet. I should know about him by tomorrow. If neither one goes I think I will drive to Jasper on my own. If we go to Jacksonville, you think you might could make it. Anyone else in that area?

Sorry man it looks like no one is up for driving to Jacksonville. The other guy going with me was the one that brought it up, because he won about $500.00 the last time we went. He has been sick and says he is not up for driving there either. So it looks like Jasper it is. Why don't you meet us there. Kinda half way between.

Another guy I work with who was thinking about it, has now backed out. Weldon is very iffy, so I may be going by myself. I am just not up to driving to Jacksonville, maybe we will be able to work this out one day so we can meet up.

Mirage

I'd head over to Jasper if it were a little closer, 90 minutes is a bit of a stretch. If not for the family I'd have no qualms, but the wife won't be thrilled about being stuck here all day; I don't see driving my ol' beater out there. I'll be getting a little pickup in a few weeks though so maybe we can do this in February or March, and of course if you do make it out to J'ville I have no problem making it. Also, there's another cardroom opening up just up the street from me at the dog track in Orange Park this spring that would be about 25 mins closer for you that might be worth the trip. I'm sure the games will be unbelievably soft when it opens!
