Home game #3
Well Things are going better right now on the home game front. I took 3rd last week to break even and I won this week. 12 people showed up and with $20.00 buy-ins we had one of the biggest pots we have had recently. $160.00 to first, I didn't play many hands, the ones that I did, I played pretty aggressive and took down decent pots in almost all of them.
Two of the biggest came towards the end. Blinds are at 150/300 I think. I am in SB with Da NUTZ KJo, there is 1 limper ahead, he is the big stack also not a regular and I only played him once before, and he had not been limping to often so I decide to just see a flop and complete, the BB checks his option The flop is K3K, Bingo!!. The BB is a very LAG player and he often bets when checked to him, there is no flush possibility so I check. BB checks and Big stack checks. OK, well an A comes off on the turn so I decide one of these guys will bet that, so I check again. BB checks and then the big stack makes it 1000. I then push all-in, I have about 1000 more. BB folds and the big stack tanks and finally calls. He had AJ, no help for him on river and I double up.
A bit later we are down to 5 players, blinds are 300/600. I have won a few more small hands and taken out a small stack so the big stack I mention from the previous hand and I are about even in chips. Not sure if I have him covered or not. The shortest stack at the table goes all-in from UTG, he doesn't have a full BB, I have KQs and I am the button. The other big stack calls, so I call and the SB and BB are in, family pot. The flop 9TJ. The SB, who has about 1/2 the stack of mine the other big stack's, makes it 1500. The BB thinks quite awhile but folds, then the other big stack calls. So I of coarse go all-in, expecting to push the other big stack out. The SB pushes in the rest of his chips as I expected. Then the other big stack calls. :omg: There is a flush draw, but I have the nuts right now. BB had KJ and other big stack has AQ. Neither has a flush draw. Well the turn is a blank but it puts a third  on the board and now the big stack has a flush draw to go along with his gut shot bigger straight draw. So I figure I am done. However the river is kind and I take out three players at once, it turned out I had the other big stack covered. The small stack had 68s. I now have a massive chip stack going up against the short stack(BB) that folded he has about 3BBs left. I offer him an extra $10.00 to quit right then and go home. It was already after 11:00PM. He agreed so I get $150.00 for $130.00 profit.
