Friday:
The word for the day is giant bag of douche. Why you ask? Good question.
That was, what, was at my table. I have never seen anything like it. The Kenneth Cole button down shirt with the sleeves unbuttoned, the need to put sunglasses on during a big hand/ raise of 1/2 100 max NL.(rotflmfao) Trying to make people sweat when you are 100% positive the douche is going to fold. Really arrogant guy too, as you will see later.
LOL This is golden, I wish I could have taken a picture of the douche. He raised 40% of the hands and played maybe 60% vpip.
The thing with these guys is that people start calling with shit and get giant ego's going. It is kind of funny to watch, it is akin to playing for your rolls by whipping out your cock and laying it out on the counter, the winner's is the biggest. Psychology 101. Unfortunately, I did not get any cards to reraise him with. For like 2 hours I was stinking the joint up, playing passively etc.
Anyway the hands:
There were none for a long while:
AJ suited (dia.) in the BB. Giant bag of douche raises to 15. Two callers and I reraise to 30. All call. Flop was 8-9-2 two diamonds. I check as do the two callers and the GBOD bets out 15, I think for 2 seconds and push. Two fold and GBOD with the infrared sunglasses takes, no lie, 5 minutes to make a decision. All the while I am cracking jokes with a buddy at the table and the woman next to me that said, "nice bet". Finally, he folds A-4 he folded his cards sometimes where we can see them if you looked at a slight angle.
I said, word for word, " Hey tool bag keep trying to make me sweat and think I will not do the same thing again. You had crap and were going to fold anyway."
My buddy and the woman next to me were laughing their asses off. Sorry guys/gals but you had to be there to see what a pretentious douche this guy really was. Get this, he even wanted all his chips red (5$) so he can look cool with a wall in front of him. He would try and trade $25 chips for $5 chips with other players and the dealers well. This is the first guy in history I have ever seen do this. For instance if I have over $300 in red's I ask the brush/dealer to get 200 in greens. Who the F wants a million chips in front of you like that, unless it is at the WSOP.
He tried to trade with me," I laughed and said why? so you can look cooler" Last time he asked. hahahaha.
OK I get AJos on the button. GBOD raises to 15 again. There are 4 callers including me. Flop was A-K-5 rainbow. My plan was to push his inevitable C-Bet. Well, unfortunately, another player made me rethink the plan by pushing 67 extra bucks over the top of GBOD's 15 C-bet. I dumped my hand, even though I knew I was way ahead of GBOD's range but somewhat unsure of the other guys range. So I folded, GBOD called with Q-10 while other guy had AJos, wonderful. Turn was a 10 as was the river. GBOD won the pot ............lol
Another person came to the table and sat down. This guy is a little/alot crazy and quite honestly do not see him as a winning player. I think he calls too too many raises and watches too much TV much like GBOD. HE bluffs and makes a lot of big plays..............what ever. He won a crazy push to double to 200 with the GBOD and then bluffed off another hand with a big Reraise on the flop over top of GBOD's c-bet and showed 3-4 soooted.
Anyway, I get QQ in the BB. Bingo so I thought. GBOD raises out to 15. Great. My plan of attack was to reraise 50. Well the chink in the armor was the All-in by said crazy guy. I had like 145 at the time and was down like 55 for the night. I tried to think what this guy was trying to accomplish. I do not know if it was ego or whatever, I like to think I am a thinking player that tries to put people on a specific hand or range. Well my brain made my lips say," fuck it I am going to gamble, I call." The minute I made it, I heard the doom drums rumbling. Seriously, I am here to make money not cater to ego...................... I am mad at myself for not thinking and saying," you know what, lay this down and let those to jackasses go at it."
Anyway, he says," I am ahead for now" and flips Aces after I flip my Queens. Flop was J-10-2. Turn was a K giving me a little hope but the river was a big old BigDill (some of you will get that inside joke. )
I am now down 200 for the night. I am pissed, I did not lay it down and I lost. Two down nights in a row and both rather big to me. Something is not right with the universe.
It is now like 4:30 AM and buy back in for 100. About 10 hands and a dealer change later, I get 7-7 in MP. GBOD raises to 15, 5 callers I call . There is like 6-7 people in the pot, I forget how many exactly. Flop was K-10-7 with 2 clubs. The guy that had AA bets out 40. I reraise all in for 67. (I usually try and keep my stack as close to 100 as possible but let it go to 82 blah that is 18 missed bucks blah). Folded around to AA guy and he calls with K-J clubs, the turn and river were 2 blanks and I win the majority of my loot back. That was my first flopped set that won in 3 entire days. Amazing I am positive with the luck I get sometimes. Well all that is about to change................. Oh I ended down exactly 80 bucks Friday. Not bad for the lack of hands and action.
The GBOD had like 800 bucks and lost a good 200 +on the last hand. It (the 800) was a combo of his atrocious calls hitting and then ego driven idiots paying him off with A high stuff. Weird never saw anything like it.
Last Hand for night as table broke:
The flop was Q-7-Q-A-Q. Some older Asian gentleman pushed for 150 bucks and GBOD took like 10 minutes to decide. Even though I was not in the hand I said, " He is going to fold he is just trying to look cool." I know I should shut my mouth when not in the hand but I can not help myself during times like this. He called after I said this LMAO he had A something the older guy had a Q. Fuck him if he can't take a joke.
I want to add he called the clock on my Buddy Santiago in a big hand. Santiago laughed and said," there is no clock in a cash game you prick. Get the floor" LMAO. He pushed all in and got rivered by GBOD...... oh well. Afterwards I said" Hey you have the balls to call a clock after the crap you pulled with me. You are a Freakin idiot". More laughs at GBOD's expense.
There was another guy that flopped Quad queens on my buddy Santiago. That is well and good. He kept checking and calling Santiago's bets. Santiago had AK suited and hit his flush just shy of a royal. Anyway this guy could not shut up about how well he played it and how he was playing for the bad beat. (Aces full of jacks or better and lose with both cards playing wins it). Mother F@#$*(#$. The bad beat is like 1 in a million, play your hand jagoff.
After reminding the table how well he played this hand for the 50th time in the last hour, I felt like saying, " Yeah well anyone could look like a freakin genius if they flopped quads every time" I kept my pie hole shut though............lol good times.
I will write up Sat and Sunday later on today enjoy Friday for now.
