Default Biggle is a huge luckbox, duh.

New casino opened about 15 minutes from where I live. I'm in so much trouble. Old casinos were 40 minutes away, which was just far enough to keep me from going during the week and doing weekends only. And since I can't win online, looks like I'll be playing live more.

Opening night on Wednesday: -100. Bleh. Only a couple hours, just wanted to see the room.

Friday night: My degen friend calls and wants to go. He's drunk so I go pick him up. I know this is a bad idea because he'll likely be broke before I finish playing, but he's still a friend so I oblige. Lines are crazy long so we go sit at a pai gow table and I win $16. On a side note, this is the game to play if your casino has free drinks. Most of the hands push.
My table finally opens, I grind for a few hours and lose another $50. Meh.

Saturday: OK. I want to win my money back. +$360 and I was one flush draw away from having another $100 pot, but I shouldn't complain too much as I think I hit every draw that I flopped.

Big hand #1: 7 limpers and I raise AA out of the SB. All call. Flop is J93 rainbow. I bet. Maniac-ish player to my left raises. Everyone calls. Turn is an A. Hero checks. Maniac bets. Everyone calls except for maybe 1 or 2. Hero CR's. 4 callers. River is a deuce. Bet. Single caller. Woot!

Big hand #2: 7 limpers and I have 67c on the button and raise. I get re raised by an early limper and I end up capping it. Flop is 345 all hearts. Very good flop. I fade all the hearts and take down pot.

I can see where a casino so close could cause trouble!! Nice hands.

Just did the numbers. This session puts me over $1000 in live 3/6 winnings. My estimate is $3.50 / hour + comps.

Nice. I'm glad I don't have a casino that close.

My local is about half an hour away, using public transport. It's good fun.

You know Biggle, I think I'm learning limit. Report coming soon. Thanks for the read...

I've heard that limit is a better live game as far as casinos go. I'm going with MewsicLovr to the local cardroom tonight, and we'll no doubt play 1/2NL. Depending on how that goes I may get sharp at limit and play 2/5 limit next time instead, we'll see. I would have to study up and get some hands in first though since I was never very good at it to begin with.

Nice Biggle!

On a side note, I really enjoy playing Limit Live.. Most players are clueless and just like the action and are not there to fold anything. So, even a decent limit player has a huge advantage in this game. I still prefer the NL tables, but it doesn't kill me to play limit until a table opens up..

Keep ML out of trouble Mirage. He's kinda the silent type so don't let him jump over the table and choke a mother fucker. :)

Have fun guys!

I played one table of 2/5 limit at Jacksonville and no clue is an understatement. If you can't catch any cards though you can go through a buy in rather quickly. Almost every street was at least raised and often capped.
