Gunna be fun. And I hear that in Canada the women are prohibited from wearing panties... so we have that going for us.

Spammy and I are booked for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday, at the Brock which is attached to Casino Niagara. It was pretty confusing but started to make more sense after I realized they were adding $40 to the room cost to cover the free food vouchers which we then got rid of. Also, every time I searched the room the price went up, started at $119 and was up to $190 before I gave up and just phoned them.

We are going to drive up Friday. We are not morning people. I'm going to try to leave early enough to still be able to secure tasty Egg McMuffin sandwiches on the way, so about 10AM.

We're going to stop at a park on the American side to take pictures by a statue of Tesla, should take an hour tops.

I'd estimate our arrival at the Brock at about 3 PM.

Friday night we'll be available for poker and associated Shenanigans. Saturday after breakfast we're going to check out that street with all the weird thing to do. We'll be up for more poker and shenanigans on Saturday night.

Sunday I probably won't play any more poker before we return as Spammy won't have the hotel room to go back to if she doesn't feel like playing. However, if I happen to satellite into a nice tournament or something I'll stay and play.

Getting excited.

By the way, don't know what it will be like in a few weeks but right now it looks like the US and Canadian dollars are almost exactly 1:1

Yeah, Johnny..can't wait either. My plans, as far as what days I'll be there, are pretty much the same. Hope to leave Pittsburgh around 10ish that Friday, check in, hit the poker room by 4 or 5. Suppose Saturday's up in the air...would like to just play poker all day, but if the NADS group decide to do something as a group, well, we'll see (although I get the feeling Puck is only planning on joining us Friday). Checking out Sunday and will probably play some more...maybe at Seneca.

Yeah, Friday is looking like the day for me. I just don't want to screw with weekend border crossings. Besides, I could really use a day off from work, and this is a great reason. As we get closer, just let me know which casino everyone wants to hit first. I plan to be at a table by lunchtime.

If you guys are going to do the tourist thing over the weekend, it's basically Clifton Hill and the Falls (likely too cold for the Maid of the Mist). It's also worth getting to the top of the Skylon Tower to get a view of the Falls at night.

I would really like to come but I doubt it. The wife and I are going to Vegas in May so need to save up for that.

Two weekends away...anybody else showing up?

BTW, one down side...no free alcohol at the Canadian casinos. I don't drink while playing, but I always enjoy watching others get drunk and try to play poker.

Then again, I really should take like $200 and get drunk while playing poker to see what happens. Maybe I'll be another Eruu!
