Default Sirius or XM radio (others?)

Anyone subscribe? Which one is better and are they worth it? I just want music, don't care about sports. I'm getting sick of Pandora repeating songs.

I have XM and I don't think I could live w/o it at this point.. I have a 30-45 minute drive to work everyday and you can use it in the house too.. Tons of music, comedy, news, etc..

I have Sirius and feel the same way Randy does. I thought there is no way I would pay for radio, but my Charger came with a 1 year subscription. So they hooked me.

As PMB posted it's going to be all the same soon.

You also get internet streaming, of all the music channels, and a few sports and news channels. You can pay some additional amount for a premium subscription, which gives you all the channels and at a higher bit rate I understand. I am happy with the basic internet stream.

If I were going to buy one or the other, I think I'd definately choose Sirius. Since they're going to be taking over the smaller XM, It'd probably be a smoother transition if any when it ever happens. Plus Howard Stern and Nascar are on Sirius and not XM. Sure, Opie and Anthony are on XM, but they're also on terrestrial radio for more than 1/2 of there show each day, which I don't fully understand, but that's a little off on a tangent.

I have no idea why anyone would pay for radio.

I'm willing to pay if it's good. What do you use?

Me? The AM/FM radio that came with the car works just fine for me.

It's definately one of those things that you would never appreciate fully until you have it; like DVR (or TiVo), Broadband Internet, & Indoor Plumbing.

I just about NEVER watch Live TV anymore. And what's a commercial?
