I work for a drug company, doing research and development. Suffice to say, testing on animals is essential to to drug discovery. How can these people terrorize scientists who are working towards a greater good???

These types of radical fundamentalists are so fucking stupid. I'd like to know how many of these pansy ass douches has ever taking ANY type of medicine. If so, then they themselves support testing on animals, b/c without it, you'd never know what the fuck is toxic before you put it in humans.

Derr. We're not talking about torture-loving scientists. It's research, nothing more. It's not as if these people set out to kill animals with no intention of further benefiting their study.

These same granola-eating-tree-humping-noodle-dick-queer-ass-fairy fuckers don't even give a shit about how other humans are treated, they're more concerned with animals???? When the fuck did people start caring more about how we treat animals than each other??? Goddamn these stupid mother fuckers.

Greater good sounds like some kind of appeal to my mind which screams to me we are doing something bad and justify saying it by calling it the greater good. What exactly is the greater good? :P just fucking with you, i love animals and all but its a necessity if we want to try and cure some diseases that are ailing us all, for instance I got this wicked crotch rot I cant get rid of and the DR said they have this great drug for it but they cant test it on animals because all the save the animal types burned down the lab and took all the animals out. GOD DAMN CROTCH ROT!

Another question. Are these people 100% vegans or vegetarians, or whatever the fuck? How can you justify eating food that comes from animals, considering they have to be killed to be eaten.

By the way I don't understand this argument about protesters not being prosecuted because of free speech concerns, as it says in the article. I'm pretty sure firebombing and slander aren't protected by free speech, but I haven't read the constitution recently.

You know, I can appreciate animal rights and all that, and if this was about, maybe, the fur industry I can see where they're coming from. But I wonder if these protesters have stayed true and never use a drug that was tested on animals. Good luck finding one of those.

Also, firebombing and general vandalization of peoples' homes are most certainly not protected by the constitution, I can assure you that my friend.

Lastly, finding a drug that's never been tested on animals = there is no such thing. Every single last one of them had to be tested on animals, to determine toxicity.

This is so lame. Ya know we were talking in a meeting the other day, and I mentioned I was embarrassed at being an "Environmental guy". My Official job title is "Director of Environmental and Legal Affairs". I hate the look I get from people when they hear that, I know they are think "It's dumb fucks like you that are keeping oil at $4 a gallon".. I just know it..

The truth is, I don't give a shit about the environment, polar bears, baby seals, ANWAR, etc. Fuck 'em all for all I care. I'm sick of oil killing this country and it's past time for some of our elected officials to get off their asses and do something about it.. Nancy Pusslosi (or w/e her name is) is giving women a bad name running congress. My 12 year old daughter has more sense than that dumb bitch. She is a huge supporter of these crazy enviro. nuts and IMO they all need to be dropped off a cliff!

Eh... This isn't about environmentalists or animal rights activists: it's about a bunch of morons attacking well meaning and innocent people.

Nothing about this issue has to do with whether their cause or the environmental cause is morally justifiable or correct. So, let's not confuse that point.
