Pope: Sex can become 'like a drug' - CNN.com
" Pope: Sex can become 'like a drug # Pope Benedict admits that Vatican's teaching against birth control is hard # He praises document condemning contraception on its 40th anniversary # Benedict concerned that human life risks losing its value in today's culture # He worries that sex can "transform itself into a drug" one partner has to have" AND NOW ONTO THE BEST PART: "Benedict appeared to be referring to artificial procreation methods, which in the Church's view, offend the dignity of life and go against Vatican teaching that the only way to conceive a child is through intercourse between husband and wife. "No mechanical technique can substitute the act of love that two married people exchange as a sign of a greater mystery," Benedict said in his speech." LOL, hey dickweed, ever heard of the Immaculate Conception????? Mary conceived Jesus after the Angel "appeared" to her. What a bunch of fucking hypocrites. Tell me where in the Bible it says that your priests can fuck little boys and the Church's response should be to transfer priest to another diocese and pay out mega millions in settlements. DICKHEADS. |

You try going through 12 years of that education and see if you don't come out as fucked up as I am.
Talking to us when we were second graders (and yes I'm dating myself): If you watch the television show Three's Company it's a mortal sin and you will go to hell. You will NOT watch it." If we admitted to watching it after that we got punished in school. Last edited by johnny; 05-10-2008 at 09:12 AM. |

I remember sitting in church as 12 year old listening to the priest and thinking I was going to hell b/c the sermons were so damning. The funny thing is, I didn't curse when I was a kid and my friends (who were all catholic by the way, as I am not) were cursing in church. So I figured if they could do it in church, then I could curse too. Boy, it was all down hill since then. I once cheated on a religion test in 7th grade. I had the book open inside my desk and did it. If I recall correctly, I felt no guilt or remorse. Hooray for ethics. I was thoroughly convinced that I was going to hell for um, self um, you know.... |

Not sure on adopting a baby, but it's now ok to believe in extra-terrestrials.
Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens VATICAN CITY (AP) - The Vatican's chief astronomer says that believing in aliens does not contradict faith in God. The Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, says that the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones. In an interview published Tuesday by Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Funes says that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith" because aliens would still be God's creatures. The interview was headlined "The extraterrestrial is my brother." Funes said that ruling out the existence of aliens would be like "putting limits" on God's creative freedom. |
