Ridgepoker now has a google Page Rank of 2 and the forum has a page rank of 1 ...Not great but it is a start.

Congrats Randy and Mew for the hard work

Page rank is Google's measure of the importance of this page

Thank you bats! I noticed that the other day and was very excited.. As always though, it's the members that make this happen. Page-rank means nothing without a good community.

I popped in some search terms for giggles and "poker tutoring" was halfway up the second page. Pretty impressive to make so much headway this fast considering the saturation of poker sites out there, gj guys!

We are a long way from TP. MJ was a web wizard and built organic traffic that at the time was unheard of.. TP under the new owners are still benefiting from his work, but the site itself is getting fewer and fewer hits every month.

In some ways MJ had the advantage that we don't have. He started his site right before the huge poker boom when the was thousands fewer sites that there are now. We don't have that advantage. Now there are literally thousands of Poker sites and some strong competition. That makes Ridge ranking so well so quick all the more impressive though..

We still have tons of work to do, but every little bit helps. Content drives traffic, traffic will get us new members, and new members will keep our community alive..

This might be a good time to mention that if any one here has any interest in writing an article to be put on the site, let me know. It doesn't have to be the greatest article ever, just a subject in poker you find interesting and have something to say about it.. Of course, I am willing to pay a fair price for your hard work.. Just let me know if you're interested..
