Maybe uninstall-reinstall the software? That's weird. I checked the version from your screen shot...I'm running the same version.

I think that the posting of one's desktop should be mandatory. Something like the Skull & Bones "tell us your most intimate secret" thing.

Well, good news for me...
Looking at my screenshot again I see that my time zone was set to pacific, even though the time was correct for my local eastern. A ha! Changing that fixed my problems with Cake. Now my day planner software is fucked up by 3 hours, gotta fix that. In short, Cake works fine and I'm a dumbass. Still wish there was an audible alarm when it's your turn for action on the table though.
