Default April Felt Poker Challenge

I'm thinking about running a Pokerstars Private tournament each week with a points system.. Not sure about prizes and such yet.. I would like to make it a mixed game format, NLHE, OMAHA, etc.. Also, I think in order for us to make it a real competition, we need to set the buy-in at $10..

Give me your ideas about this or another type of challenge.

We can do a $5 buy in I guess.. Finding two night during the week we can all participate will be harder to do though.. We can always try..

Seems ok to me, but unless we get more participation it might be hard to keep that going. Having a fixed time tourney is going to be tough, it always seems to be hard to find a time good for everyone.

Maybe do some kind of challenge like with the donkaments but use MTT SNGS, 27 or 45 player. Probably should have started mulling this over a little sooner.

I agree its hard to make it a good time for all plus things come up and you can't always be there. In fact I can't think of a fair way to have 1 or 2 fixed tournaments a week due to schedule reasons unless their on weekends.

Another forum does a pretty cool one with the 180 man $4 tournaments. Those are fun, I'd be up for those for sure. Either way I agree I'm tired of these quarter tournaments.

Don't forget...with the weather getting warmer, I hear some people like to go outside. What's up with that? Anyway, something to keep in mind as there's always seems to be a poker lull in the spring.

Don't base any decisions on me, but I'm a microstakes player for the most part. I've enjoyed three months of a contest geared towards "my game". I would have absolutely no hard feelings if the higher level guys had a contest geared for them.

That said, I'd probably reserve the right to participate if I have a good swing here and there.

Thats why IMO the four dollar ones work out well. Its a nice middle ground.
