Update, I've only played about 1200 hands but I'm at $314 profit right now. I haven't had too many coolers so far and I'm running pretty decent. I've only been playing about an 1 1/2 hours per session so far. I started out playing 2 tables, then three, now I'm at 4 so my hands should increase..

Sounds like you're off to a pretty good start. Lemme do some math on your numbers if you don't mind...

1200 hands with a profit of $314...

It's a pretty small sampling, but say you keep this winrate over many thousands of hands over a longish haul...

If we figure 100 hands/hour (correct me if I'm way off), that's 12 hours of play to win $314 or $26/hour.

That doesn't sound too bad to me for just an hour or two a night. Do you think this is a realistic and sustainable winrate for $25NL?

As you know, my goal is to start playing for real come the fall. I'm trying to figure out some milestones and goals for myself as well.

the hands he has been posting haev been 50nl and 100nl.

Winning a buy-in/hr is not a realistic goal.

Depending on circumstances maybe you can expect a 4-12BB/100 profit, so Randy is running pretty good right now.

Well, down -$120+ last night and up about $150 so far tonight. I'm playing 4 tables and tonight I just played 50NL. I'm going to get about $100 more in profit before I add any 100NL tables. So, my profit is back at $320. Very small sample size right now. <2k hands
