ML was telling me I need to convert my database or something.. I have to compact after every session.. It's really gettin gold..
He gave me [url=http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6310:unpx5nlk]this[/url:unpx5nlk] link.. Not sure if it's the same problem or not, but it might help if you haven't already done this.

Mine are huge too, but even on a crappy laptop it didn't bog down the system except for when I had the "Auto rate players when importing" turned on. Then it was ass. Make sure it's not auto-rating.

Although the upgrade in RAM has my machine humming along great, I'm still gonna convert my DB one of these days.

Converting is probably the single best thing you can do. Access hates large databases, it just isn't created to handle them. It's good for small applications but when it gets too big it suffers horribly.

I use WinRar, it's basically the same as winzip but also handles "rar" files. Both have "free" versions that will just nag you every time you open up the program. I don't find it too irritating.

Anybody know what to do about this error when installing the PostgreSQL? I can't find mention of it in the documentation.

Odd, I didn't get that. Maybe restart the comp? Windows likes a good restart :).

Go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Start the Secondary Logon service. Also set the start properties for this service to "Automatic". I don't know why postgres needs this service but that's how you enable it.
