Default More Fish on PS?

I started playing on PS again last week. It had been about six months since my last game. The first thing I noticed is there appear to be at least as many fish on PS as there were six months ago. Also, it looks like the total number of PS players has gone up slightly, which bodes well for the fish percentage. Has anybody noticed whether there are more or less fish lately? I would probably have made a lot more than the $600 I ended up making over my last 200 games if I wasn't so unlucky.

I have seen a recent resurgence in fish over the past two/three weeks. In April and early May it was dire straights. Pokerstars has fully twice the volume of Full Tilt so one would think there would be more fish there.

Perhaps this is true. I've played around a bit lately on the 100NL and 200NL tables on PS just crapping about and really there aren't so many classical fish but there are plenty of new-age fish, people who think they know how to play and are in fact very exploitable. So I guess to good players, yes, there are more fish.

The pond isn't a pyramid anymore however, it's more of a kite.

Good post ugi. There ARE lots of players who seem to have some clue regarding preflop play, and so they manage to cooler the fish often enough, but wind up exploited by the better players.

I was playing teh .50/$1 limit state of texas hold them yesterday against a player called Mirage and he exploited me with his uber while going for the infamous three barrel checkraise.

That's what I know.

Yeah PS sucked in April the games were really tough. I couldn't get any money in back then and assumed this is why there weren't alot of fish (i.e. they lost all there money and couldn't play anymore). So I lost all my money and couldn't play anymore. Oh wait, shit.

The WSOP is coming up and there is always a big surge in new poker players before and after. With the delay of the WSOP ME FT this year, that should make the surge last , longer than normal.
