PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge
If you haven’t already seen it, the Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge is a poker game show which airs on FOX after the Sunday NFL game. Ratings have been good, and Pokerstars recently announced that season 2 of the Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge has already been picked up. This means you have more chances to win.

While the reaction from the hard-core poker community has been mixed, there’s no denying the million dollar potential prize. If you won a million bucks would you care what poker players think of the show? I didn’t think so.
So, instead of critiquing the show, lets talk about the promotion and tell you how to qualify.
How to Qualify for the Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge
From now until December 20th, Pokerstars is running 4 daily freeroll tournaments that anyone can enter. They begin at 8, 9, 10, & 11pm ET every night. If you finish in the top ten in any of the freerolls, you’ll need to submit a short video to Pokerstars telling them why you should be chosen as a contestant for the TV show. If they think you’re a good fit, you’ll get sent to Los Angeles for your chance at $1 million. Pokerstars will also pick up the tab for two of your friends to come along.
Once you’re on the show, you’ll be competing in NL Texas Hold’em heads-up matches against celebrities and poker pros such as Jerome Bettis, 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole, Barry Greenstein, and Vanessa Rousso.
If you make it through each stage you can win $100,000 and a shot at Daniel Negreanu for up to a million bucks.
On December 27th, Father Andrew Trapp (who already has $100,000) will be going against Negreanu on the season 1 Grand Finale show. Want to be on the season 2 Grand Finale yourself? Season 2 freerolls are running now.
To Play in the Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge:
1/ Write down Pokerstars marketing code FeltPoker.com and bonus code Stars600.
2/ Download Pokerstars and register your new account.
3/ Go to the Pokerstars lobby and click on ‘Tourney’, then ‘Regional’. The Million Dollar Challenge freerolls are listed in the lobby window under the following heading: ‘FOX - PS Million Dollar Challenge [North America]’. Click on that and register.
You can enter as many of the Pokerstars.net Million Dollar Challenge freeroll tournaments as you like, giving you plenty of chances to win. If you finish in the top ten in any of the freerolls, Pokerstars will send you an email with detailed instructions on how and where to send your video.
