unread is an add on?

i'd like the option to show all posts i have not read like before.

also, same thing for a thread. there is an option to go to last post, but that is not the same thing. first unread post in a thread is what i'm looking for.

New posts link does not do that? I though clicking on the checkmark next to a thread went to the first unread post. It does for me.

New posts are what it says, new, based on time, not on read or not. it's easy to see that they still appear when you click new posts after having read them. before they were removed, now they are not. as far as i can tell, last post arrow is really the LAST post. again not the posts that you have not seen. Because of the time difference, there are usually several posts at the end of a thread that i have not seen, so always need to scroll up and check where i need to start from.

I'm glad you all like it, but i find the change of functionality a big pain in the....

ok, so clicking on the title takes you to first unread. opposite of old forum.

not convinced about what new posts does yet tho.

I miss that feature as well. The closest I could find was a link under "Quick Links" called "Today's Posts." Poker Strategy Forums | Poker Coaching It seems to be some semblance of view unread.

Actually, when I hover my mouse over that symbol next to a thread with at least one unread post in it (the symbol will be different in different themes) it tells me that it goes to the first unread post.

ok, interesting, the thing before the thread title to go to the first unread message seems to only appear if there are any unread posts in the thread.
