Default Open links in a new tab or window.

One thing that is different from the old forum is that links within a post will open (at least for me) in the same window. I'd rather open a link to an article or video but not close the thread I'm reading. I know I can do it manually but since ML has spoiled us thus far, I figured I may as well ask.

I guess I just have a habit of ctrl+clicking all links. I never even noticed the old behaviour.

Using FF, you can use your center button to open in new window. That's more of a browser dependent function.

I agree with Eruu...the 'old' forum would open all links into a new window. I don't have my browser set for this...the forum would do it automagically.

This will work for me. Thanks for the info because I didn't even know what that center button was for besides scrolling documents. For the record, I would prefer it to automatically open a new tab.

Hey, look at it this way. Would you rather leave a link that leads people away from your web site or one that opens a new window so all they have to do is close that new window and they are right back on your site? :D

In other words, I answer your question with a yes.

Well I found a fix and applied it. I poked around and it seems to work. Let me know what you think.

This *might* break with something I have in the works behind the scenes, so remind me again if it stops working.
