This mod is big enough to warrant it's own post and an explanation of how to use it.
Overview
You can now attach up to 3 files to any post or with any PM. For now, I haven't restricted permissions for anyone or for any particular forum. We'll be evaluating how it's being used and we'll make adjustments if necessary (read: don't abuse it!

)
The primary intent of this was twofold: one, it is the first step in creating thumbnail images, and two, this provides a simple mechanism for people to share hand histories together.
Allowed Files
Valid files are: text files (txt, h, cpp, etc), image files (jpg, png, gif, etc), and archives (zip, rar, ace, etc). Anything else will be rejected. We'll consider adding more if there is a need to do so.
To Attach A File
When you go to make your post, there is now a small section below the area where you type. Simply click the Browse button and find your file. You can also put a file comment if you want. Finally click Add Attachment. At this time posts are limited to one attachment each so if you try to attach another file it will disallow that file.
You can also remove attached files by clicking the "Delete Attachment" button under the file you just added.
Quota Management
To limit disk space use and to reduce bandwidth, users are currently restricted to 500KB for a single attachment, and collectively all attachments (for all users combined) cannot exceed 100MB. This is kind of low just so I can get a feel for how it will be used for now. This can be changed.
Managing your Files
You can see how much space your attachments are taking up by viewing your Profile. Here you will see how much you have uploaded, what the max quota is, and what your percent contribution is. Only you and Admins can see this information. In addition, you can see the actual files you have uploaded by clicking on "User Attachment Control Panel". Here you can see where you uploaded files and you can remove files.
Conclusion
This is a hefty mod and one that I hope everyone likes. At the same time, I don't want it to be abused. Basically you are free to use it as you please but please use it where appropriate. Thanks.
