1 new message... ...(No)
I'm new here to the forum and didn't get any PM's before your update, so I don't know if this is a new problem or not, but When I logged in this morning, I had a couple of new messages (Now I feel loved, thanks)..
Anyway, after reading & discarding them, it's still showing that I have 1 new message. I Don't. I tried: -Logging off and on. (BTW, did you ever notice when people say that, they usually say, Log on and off, when they really mean "log off and on"?, (sorry about the tangent) -Deleted cookies, etc. -Hell, I even rebooted the damn thing, just so one of you wouldn't tell me to do that before posting this, hehe. Not a biggy, but..

I have no idea what's wrong. I opened the PM, read it (didn't click on anything special except the link to open it), and that was it.

Does it say that you have any message in your "inbox" currently.
Mine still shows "1", but it's empty. Whatever, I chalk things like this up to FM! CHeers

It says I have 0 new messages. Do you have cookies enabled? I'm not sure what else it could be.
EDIT: found that this is a known bug and will be fixed soon. Sorry about that. One of the disadvantages of running beta software.

Nope, not cookies; and I get the same thing at home on a computer I haven't been here from yet.
Not worried about it. I now know that 1 means none, and 2 means 1. Even I can do that math on the fly! Cheers Edit: BTW, When I do get one new message, It reads "2 new nessages, 1 unread message"

Mystery solved, sort of...
A message that I read, not once but twice, and had been since moved into "saved items" or whatever. I looked back and said, I don't really need that & deleted it. BAMM. "1 new message" gone.
