The sad thing is I don't know if I should have flat called the river or not. My flop raise represents QQ, right? But I guess if it did, I wonder why he called with 55. I'm confused.

I was gonna say he must have figured you for maybe a low draw with a flush or straight draw, but then I noticed this is Hi only. So calling with bottom set with no other draws in that spot, not such a good idea. It worked out for him though, huh? Wonder why he raised you on the turn? You think if he called you on turn and then pushes over on the river you could lay it down? I know I couldn't, all my chips would belong to him.

He's probably a NLHE player who NEVER folds a set, (period). nh, I'd've gone broke on that one, too, obv.

Yeah, the thing is there's so *few* hands he would have. 66, Q5, and of course 55. I think there's more bluffing in PLO than most realize, but in a case like this I can be nearly 100% sure he is not. When he raised me on the turn I thought 66 or Q5, but in the back of my mind I knew it was probably 5's. If he checkraised the turn it would be strange to say the least. Honestly I don't know if I ever could lay this hand down, even though my gut definitely told me he had it. I don't think I play enough Omaha to know if it's ever correct to lay down top full.

That sucks. Have you tried raising when you flop a set like that?
