Ouch man, unders and they flop sets? No way to get away from it, against unknowns? Folding overpairs is really tough to do profitably.

yeah both flopped sets, one was a rock and i got away relatively cheap, like $50, one was a phycho agro monkey and I lost the full stack.

But add JJ... 2 villains call (one is a pro), flop :6c :6d :7c, we're first to act and bet 3/4 pot and pro folds and other villain pushes $345.00. We fold and villain leaves the table.

I hate it when they leave the table right after your fold.

He was somewhere in the upper 20s and high teens for a PFR. Not a whole lot of hands though. AKc maybe?

Almost done grinding back to even then I'm going to bed. Not to be session orientated really, it's more of a "hey, why not" thing since the table is 32% w/ 20BB avg pots.

Yeah, I was thinking Axc plays that way but some (good) players play almost every playable hand from that flop onwards in that manner. That's why knowing something about villain goes a way. With JJ, you are only worried about AA--QQ, sets and then random shit. Random shit cancels itself out easily with FE and basic probability, then you have flush draws who hopefully call and various overpairs which may or may not call.

I dunno, I think I time down and perhaps call there.

The little man inside my head said no, no, no. He's getting better at these things over time and I decided to listen to him. Thanks for the thoughts on it -- it helps a lot.

Ended up 2.5BB/100 on the day. I'll take it! And I owe ML a beer for some timely good advice too!
