I put in programmible thermostats... make sure all the PCs at work are turned off every night... schedule work to do all the work needed on a piece of equipment at one time then turn it off the rest of the day... hell I even took 1/4 the bulbs out of the lighting in the workshop. Gunna pay anyway.

cliffs: The electric utility told people that if they build all electric homes they would give them a cut rate then said lol nope and so people with all electric homes are pissed so they are proposing giving them the discount and charging small businesses extra to cover it.

This is the same utility that was mandated by the state to create a program to help people save electricity so they purchased a shit ton of energy saving lightbulbs and started automatically sending one each to everyone then they billed their utility account $65 over many months for it, some money for the bulb and continued extra surcharge to recover the lost revenue of the customer having an energy saving bulb.
