Won't they allow you to get a phone and then if you don't like it, return within a week or so? I thought verizon offers that.

Randy,
I have a blackberry, and I really like it. I'm able to keep a calendar of important dates for school and work and can write notes to myself about various things. I also like the text messaging and internet so I can get sports scores during class.

If the above won't work for you, then I'd highly recommend the blackberry, but it depends on the service you can get out in the sticks where you live, no offense.

For example, around here you're kind of stuck with T-Mobile if you want a blackberry and T-Mobile's coverage sucks on Long Island.

So find out which provider has the best coverage in your area (you probably already know this), then find out which phones are offered by that provider. It really doesn't work well the other way around. Regardless of the provider, I'm sure there's a phone available that has all the features of a blackberry.
