Coming into January, I hoped for 35k hands, $3000, plus rakeback and bonuses. The way I was playing, I would have had to run pretty white hot for that to happen with my ABC weak-tight game. However, I think it's definitely attainable next month. Still, my wake up call last week that turned things around for the better did somewhat salvage this month, and the Full Tilt Ironman bonus, which didn't affect rakeback, was a nice boost as well.

So, $2185 in winnings, $425 Ironman bonus, $40 Cake deposit bonus, and $780 rakeback bring the total to $3430. Not bad at all, considering that downswing in the middle!

February goals: 35k hands, $3000 + rakeback (hopefully $3500 which is 5ptbb/100, I think if I continue to play well and improve it's easily attainable.) Move up to 200nl when, after withdrawal, my bankroll is 8k.

Oops forgot to add:

brag?: no HUD used at all. Not really that difficult but it would really be useful for situations like facing an all in from a 2/1/.1 with a good but not great made hand. w/o HUD it is tough to know exactly HOW nitty people actually are.

Sounds like my month. I had a $65.00 profit for January. I lost over $500.00 in on-line cash games, But my Home game profit, my one live trip, and on-line tourneys brought me back in the black. My home game is a tourney, and my big cash live was from a tourney. I just can not seem to consistently profit in cash games. :angry:

Nice going guys!

I wanted to clear $1600 this month. The breakdown is as follows:

$739.71 profit on cash games. This was a bit disappointing, but I had some really bad downswings and a couple 4 or 5 buyin losing nights.

$93.28 profit donking around with SnGs and MTTs. SnG ROI was 60%

$35.5 profit on bonuses and free monies

$120.50 profit on staking and other poker activities

$988.99 increase in the bankroll.


I'll also receive:

$508.29 Full Tilt bonus payment
$335.00 Full Tilt rakeback

So a total bankroll increase of $1832.28.


The goal for February is to drop down to $100 and play 6MAX instead of full ring on Tilt, and play Omaha on Stars, and clear $2k.

Mental notes about how Jan went:

NL25: +2BI over ~150 hands
NL10: Even over ~600 hands
(.5/1) 5CD: Even over ~400 hands (see BBV, crazy unlucky in this game)
5.5 SNGs: -$50 over ~60 tourneys

So overall I'm about even, if it weren't for those donk-arounds, in which I am about -$40.
